Trying new makeup is one of my favorite things to do, and after my recent trip to Ulta, I knew I wanted to sit down and film a get-ready-with-me style video trying the new items I purchased.

But then a few days after my mini shopping spree, I received a package from Ciate London filled with goodies I'd never tried before so I decided to include those products in my GRWM as well.

With that said, in this blog post, I've included the get-ready-with-me video and my thoughts on each new item I tried.

elf Brow Lift Applicator - I've been using and loving the elf Brow Lift for months now and as I was browsing online I came across this applicator tool which is specifically designed for the Brow Lift product and I was very intrigued by the flat side end. After using this tool I saw a big difference in my brows, they laid flat and gave my brows a laminated appearance which I really liked. I'll definitely keep using this!

L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Powder Foundation in 20 Ivory - The coverage this powder provides is great without looking cakey and it gives the skin a nice smoothing effect which I like. I was nervous about the color match because there were so many other shades that were very similar but I'm happy to report that the color match is pretty good. One downside of this powder is that it produces a lot of kick-up when I dip my brush into it so it gets very messy very fast.

Ciate Extraordinary Translucent Powder - When I first saw the look and texture of this powder it reminded me of the MUFE HD setting powder which immediately makes me think of Flashback Mary. So I was cautious when applying this but after setting my full face I did a flash test and there was no flashback so I felt much better. The setting powder worked well and I liked that the texture of the powder was very finely milled.

Ciate Bamboo Bronzer in Palm Island - I love a good warm-toned bronzer and this product is exactly that! It blends nicely, it's very pigmented, has a matte finish, and gave my skin that sun-kissed look. I also love the packaging I think it's super cute, in fact, I think this about all of Ciate's packaging. A+!

Ciate 9 Piece Eyeshadow Palette in Chocolate - Obsessed is the one word I'd use to describe this palette. It has a beautiful color story and the eye shadows are very buttery, pigmented, blendable, buildable, and overall stunning. I really like how the palette is small and compact making it perfect for travel and on the go, plus it has a nice-sized mirror inside.

Ciate Wonderland Mascara in Black Magic - I'm someone with very short and stubborn lashes that don't hold a curl and I've found that the mascaras that typically hold a curl are the waterproof formulated ones. With that said, this mascara is a non-waterproof formula so I won't be judging the curl hold factor. Now what I did like about this mascara was the wand, it separated and lengthened my lashes nicely so I'm curious to know if they have this mascara in waterproof because I'd be interested to try it out. The packaging of this mascara is luxe, it has some weight to it and it's overall very pretty.
