Now let's get onto how I styled each of my favorite trends.
FLESH TONES
Shades from caramel, chocolate-brown, to beige, and every other flesh tone in-between is big this season. As someone who lives in neutrals, this trend is right up my alley. You will be seeing this trend again and again throughout this blog post in combination with other trends, of course. Now, this trend is one that I think we can all get on board for. It's simple, easy to style, and I feel that most of us have a few flesh-toned pieces in our closets.
High Neck Zebra Stripe Tee - I'm wearing this top in a size Medium and it fits true to size. The top has a fun neutral zebra print with a high-neck and stretchy fabric.
Buckle Belted Faux Patent Skirt - I'm wearing this skirt in a size Medium and it fits true to size. This skirt has such a flattering fit and length. It has a zipper closure in the back, removable belt, and a front pocket. This skirt plays into the flesh tone trend as well as the following trend (below).
LEATHER
You'll be seeing loads of leather this season from clothing to accessories. Here I'm wearing an oversized beige faux leather blazer which I know is going to be a fall staple for me this year. This blazer is such a versatile piece, I can envision it styled with so many existing items in my closet for both the transitional and fall/winter weather. I styled the blazer with solid basic pieces to allow the blazer to be the focal point of the outfit. I accessorized this look with gold jewelry, gold metal frame sunglasses, a beige ruched handbag, and lace-up boots (also, a big shoe trend this season).
Peak Collar Solid Leather Blazer - I'm wearing this blazer in a size Medium and it fits true to size. This blazer has an oversized fit, button front closure, and faux pockets. The neutral color and minimalist design make this piece easy to style.
PREP
Preppy fashion has returned this fall and I am here for it. Within this trend, you'll see patterns of plaid and argyle, pleated skirts, exposed collars, cardigans, and sweater vests. When thinking of this trend, think of prep school and ivy league attire. Here I styled this trend with this plaid printed blazer dress with statement sleeves. I then accessorized the outfit with classic black pointed-toe pumps and a metal handle satchel bag. Statement sleeves are also a big trend this season; I'll be getting into this trend next.
Gigot Sleeve Double-breasted Plaid Blazer Dress - I'm wearing this dress in a size Medium and it fits true to size. This dress has a button front closure and a deep V neckline. It's a nice length and has beautiful statement sleeves. Overall a very chic and elegant dress.
STATEMENT SLEEVES
Statement sleeves have been so popular throughout the year, it only made sense that the trend carried on through the fall. If you've been a long-time follower of mine you've probably noticed that I am obsessed with statement sleeves! I think they are so playful and can make any outfit look extra chic.
Shirred Hem Knotted Polka-dot Print Top - I'm wearing this top in a size Medium and it fits true to size. This top has the most flattering fit and it's very comfortable to wear. It has a sweetheart neckline, tie-front detail, a shirred hem, and elastic, stretchy material around the tummy and wrists.
GEOMETRIC PRINTS
Fun shapes, patterns, abstract lines, and dots are going to be big and bold this fall. This star printed sweater plays into the geometric print trend perfectly. I styled it with high-waisted denim jeans and knee-high croc-embossed pointed toe boots for a more casual look.
Star Pattern Oversized Sweater - I'm wearing this sweater in a size Medium and it fits true to size. This sweater has a fun star pattern and oversized roomy fit with big sleeves. The material is thin and soft, but still warm.
CROC EMBOSSED
The croc-embossed texture can be seen in everything from coats and dresses to bags and shoes. I love the texture of faux croc because it can give any look a luxe element which helps to elevate an outfit. Here I'm displaying this trend in my accessories.
Croc Embossed Chunky Heeled Boots - I'm wearing these boots in a size EUR39 and they fit perfectly; for reference, I'm a size US8. These boots have a pointed toe, chunky heel, and are so chic and stylish. These boots do not have a zipper so you have to slide them on and off. I have found that when I wear these boots with ankle socks my skin sticks to the inside of the boot making it very difficult to slide them off; it requires assistance. I suggest using tall socks with these boots to avoid this minor issue.
Croc Embossed Baguette Bag - The baguette shape is very popular in handbags right now. I see them all over my Instagram feed. I love the size of this bag, it fits so nicely on my shoulder. The inside holds quite a bit of stuff and it has a zipper closure. The metal chain handle is also on-trend and so chic.
CHAINS AND RUCHING
This fall chains and ruching can be found on shoes and handbags. Both bags featured in this blog post follow the chain trend however this beauty is the only ruched piece in this post.
Minimalist Ruched Bag - This handbag is a stunning beige color. The inside is quite spacious and the gold chain is not real metal, it is made out of plastic. However, it’s still a beautiful bag.
This last piece doesn't necessarily follow a fall fashion trend, it's just a cute set that I think you'd appreciate so I had to share.
Press Buttoned Front Tie-Dye Pullover + Short Set - I'm wearing this set in a size Medium and it fits true to size. This comfy loungewear set is perfect for days at home or running errands. The bottoms have an elastic waistband, drawstring, and pockets. The top is a raw hem crop top, with buttons on the front and cinching around the wrist.
I sure hope you guys enjoyed this blog post and liked some of the trends I shared with you today. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
