For a while I'd been debating whether or not to buy the NARS ITA brush that everyone swears is their holy grail brush for contouring. To be completely honest my contouring skills are anything but on point I need all the help I can get in that area but since the NARS ITA brush retails for $55.00 (which in my personal opinion is over-priced) I was hesitant on purchasing it.
While on the hunt for a flat contouring brush I came across this Everyday Minerals Itahake brush, super similar to the NARS ITA brush in the way they look their brush hairs are alike in length and shape, even the handle is in a similar shape. My favorite part about this brush is the fact that every product from Everyday Minerals is natural, cruelty free, completely vegan and handmade with eco-friendly recyclable packaging.
The Itahake brush retails for $15.99 and you can get it on www.everydayminerals.com. I'm glad I purchased this brush because it helps me contour precisely, makes it easier for me to get a clean line and can target areas that I want contoured. I've seen other flat contouring brushes on the market, such as M•A•C's 163 Flat Contour brush and Morphe M460 Flat Contour brush to name a few. My problem with those brushes were that they looked too stiff and I felt like they wouldn't blend very well because the hairs weren't long or soft enough but with this brush the hairs allow me to blend without a problem so it's quick and easy.
Overall I'd say this is a great brush to have in your collection and it's a dupe for the NARS ITA brush minus the costly price tag.
