Today I'm bringing you the kind of content I love watching by sharing this YouTube video of my living room wall makeover. Be sure to watch the video above to see how the makeover came to be.

For the longest time now, I've wanted to DIY floating shelves for our living room but I never knew which wall to place them on until we bought a piano. That is when everything clicked for me.

Here are some before photos of the living room wall. The first photo is what it looked like for about two years, basically since we moved into our house. The second and third photos are what it looked like after we added the piano. See the video above for a backstory on the piano and more details.


Here are some after photos of the living room wall. In my opinion, it turned out great! My husband and I like to call this our music corner. Again, be sure to watch the video above to see how we did this inexpensive project.

This DIY project was very easy to do and it made a big difference. I highly recommend doing this if you've been thinking about getting floating shelves in your home. In my video I share the entire process of how we did this and I also share a closer look of all the decor on the shelves.
