Current Beauty Favorites

Today I'm sharing the products I've been loving and the reasons why they've made it to my list of current beauty favorites!

1. La Roche-Posay Toleraine Double Repair Matte Moisturizer // 2. elf Camo CC Cream // 3. elf Putty Bronzer in Tan Lines // 4. LA Girl Cosmetics Color Corrector in Peach Corrector // 5. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray // 6. Gel Tip Nail Extension Kit

La Roche-Posay Toleraine Double Repair Matte Moisturizer - Out of all of the moisturizers I've tried over the years, this one has been my favorite for my oily skin! Shoutout to my mom for introducing me to this product because it's been a game-changer in my skincare routine. It has a lightweight gel water-based formula with niacinamide and ceramide-3, and it's non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, and safe for sensitive skin. I love that it's fast-absorbing, non-greasy, hydrating, and sits well under makeup. A moisturizer that comes to a close second is the Curology Gel Moisturizer, however, this La Roche-Posay moisturizer is way easier to get your hands on and it's very similar in texture to the Curology one.

elf Camo CC Cream - I first tried this CC cream back in February of 2021 and I cannot tell you how many times I've repurchased this product since then. I love that it's skincare + makeup in one but it has amazing coverage! It's formulated with SPF 30, niacinamide, collagen, and peptides and it gives the skin a natural finish. It's really affordable, it wears nicely and the color match is close to my natural skin tone which is hard for me to find at the drugstore (in case you're curious I use shade Light 240 W).

elf Putty Bronzer in Tan Lines - If given the option to choose between a cream or powder bronzer you better believe I'm going with the cream bronzer. I simply cannot go without doing this step in my makeup routine and this one has been my favorite and go-to since discovering it earlier this year. It's nicely pigmented, blends like a dream, looks so natural on the skin, and it wears beautifully. I'm currently on my second one and I will continue to repurchase it over and over again. It's that good!

LA Girl Cosmetics Color Corrector in Peach Corrector - When I tell you that this product has drastically decreased the amount of foundation that I now apply to my skin, I am being so serious! Back when I didn't use this product I'd cake on the foundation to cover my hyperpigmentation and still some discoloration would peep through. I later realized it was because I wasn't using a color corrector. Once I started using this product I noticed a difference right away. I was using way less foundation because the color corrector in combination with one layer of foundation was now enough to cover my hyperpigmentation. So I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with this same issue, I share my base makeup routine here in case you want to see the color corrector in action, plus this product is very inexpensive and wears flawlessly so it's definitely worth a try!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray - I made an entire dedicated blog post where I did a 12HR wear test of this product and I suggest you check that out to find out all of the reasons why this product is on my list of favorites! But I will tell you this, it keeps my makeup in place all day long with very minimal transfer. The best setting spray I've ever tried and definitely worth the splurge!

Gel Tip Nail Extension Kit - I've always been a DIY nail girly, whether it's doing my own gel manicure or adding press-on nails, doing it in the comfort of my home has always been my preference. Well, earlier this year I was influenced by TikTok to try gel nail extensions, and let me tell you, I am now a changed woman. Haha! I'm being dramatic, but I will say that gel tips are much better than traditional press-on nails because they're much stronger and in my opinion last a lot longer. I have a full step-by-step blog post on how to DIY nail gel extensions and it includes a video for visual learners like myself.
