Last year I wrote a post on my top five favorite moments of 2016 which you can read here, so I thought it'd keep the tradition going and share with you my top five favorite moments of the year 2017!

No. 1 - Getting Married ❤

September 23, 2017 was definitely the highlight of 2017 for me. I married my best friend, felt like royalty and we celebrated our love with our closest family and friends; best day ever without a doubt!! This moment isn't only the highlight of the year but the highlight of my entire life! I shared more of our wedding photos in this post.

No. 2 - Road Tripping to Colorado

Just last month a group of us drove out to Colorado and we spent about a week in this cabin up in the mountains. This was my favorite trip of the year because it took me completely out of my comfort zone. The experience was well worth it, it allowed me to disconnect from reality and reconnect with nature (much needed!). Read all about what we did and see more photos of our trip here.

No. 3 - Newlyweds Trip to Austin

My first time in Austin, Texas was for our first vacation as husband and wife. If you read my post on this trip you'd know all about why we came here and what we did during our stay in our states capitol. On this adventure I discovered how gorgeous Texas is.

No. 5 - Snow in Texas

A beautiful strange occurrence happened this year in southern Texas when it snowed! Something like this hadn't happened in years here in Houston and it was such a nice thing to see upon waking up in the morning. My husband and I were like kids in a candy store playing in the snow LOL. I shared a video of this day on my channel, I'll link the video here.

Honorable Mention - Seeing Ariana Grande in Concert

In April I bought tickets to see Ariana Grande in concert and it was so much fun! I've been a fan of hers since the beginning of her music career, I know pretty much every lyric to every one of her songs. She's phenomenal live and her voice is incredible!! Believe me when I say I sang my heart out at her show, I walked out of there without a voice!
