Tiny But Mighty Lights Under $50

For months I found myself really struggling to get good lighting in my home office, where I film my videos for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, as well as where I get ready and do my makeup. But now with the tiny but mighty lights that I'll be sharing with you today, my struggles with bad lighting are a thing of the past!

Keep reading to see how you can resolve this issue if you too struggle with lighting in your space.

For a bit of a back story, in my home office, I have an L-shaped desk, one part of the desk holds my monitor (as seen in my last blog post) and the other part of my desk is the section I use to do my makeup, film, and so on. Well, that section is up against the wall in front of my window which is an excellent light source however, natural lighting isn't always the most consistent depending on weather and time of day. This is when I decided to go on Amazon to find a solution and oh boy did I!

These are the NEEWER Dimmable USB LED Lights that I bought for under $50! Let me just say that although these are small they are very bright.

SHOP LIGHTS

There are so many things that I like about these lights I don't even know where to begin. 😄

For starters, I really like their size as they sit perfectly on top of my desk and they're also very lightweight so moving them around is a piece of cake! Because these lights are LED's they don't get hot like traditional lights do which makes filming and getting ready in front of them more comfortable.

Included with the lights are a pack of color filters to change the color of the lighting for video, photos, and such. And the lights are easily powered and dimmable with a click of a button. They're also USB powered which I think makes it easy to connect them almost anywhere. Just think of how many places there are to charge your phone via USB? Some of the ways I power these up are by using my laptop, portable chargers, and phone chargers. Hell, I could even power these lights on the go in my car if I needed to! 😂

The most convenient thing about these lights is how simple they are to store when they're not in use. I keep mine inside my desk drawer and when I need them I just pull them out screw the light onto the tripod and get started. I also think that because they're so compact and lightweight they're great for traveling so you can have great lighting anywhere you go. From experience, I know how bad hotel lighting can be and that can be a pain in the butt when trying to get ready so these would be excellent for on the go.

I hope you found this video helpful. Until next time friends, take care!
