OGEE Crystal Contour Collection Review + Demo

I first came across this brand on TikTok when it was featured in one of Mikayla's TikToks and was later shocked when an email from the brand appeared in my inbox asking little ol' me if I wanted to test out their products. I jumped at the opportunity because I regularly use cream base products and was genuinely interested to try their products for myself so I, of course, said yes which leads me to share today's post.

Now, before I say more, this post is not in any way shape, or form an ad, sponsorship, or in-partnership with the brand. In fact, they only required one piece of IG + TikTok content so this post is being written strictly for fun and because I want to again, share my thoughts on the products with you.

Below, is a demonstration of how these are applied to my skin. For reference, I have texture, acne, oily skin, and some dry patches (from acne medication).

@xoyourgirljess this was my first time trying the @ogee crystal contour collection and i’ve got to say i’m impressed. the quality, application, and wearability were on point! use code JESSICAMELGOZA_15 for 15% off ✨ #ogeecrystalcontourcollection #ogee #beyondcleanbeauty #tryingnewmakeup #makeuptutorial #makeupdemo ♬ Light Switch - Charlie Puth

As you can see in the video, I used a brush to apply each Sculpted Face Stick as opposed to swiping the stick directly onto my face. My reason for doing this technique is to keep the coverage of the foundation and to keep the foundation in place.

My first impression when applying these was that the texture was very creamy, the pigmentation was not disappointing, and the blend-ability was excellent.

The package I received included three Sculpted Face Stick in the shades Opal (highlight), Rose Quartz (blush), and Copper (bronzer). These can be purchased individually or in a limited edition trio.

The last thing in the package was another Sculpted Face Stick in the shade Carnelian.

Here are swatches of all of the shades.

My two personal favorites are Rose Quartz and Copper. I've been using them every time I do my makeup since getting them because they're so good! Rose Quartz blends out into a beautiful naturally flush-toned rosy color and Copper is a gorgeous warm-toned bronzer that not only helps to sculpt the face but also adds warmth.

The shade Carnelian appeared to be more of a blush topper with some shimmer, it's a beautiful shade just not one I would personally reach for on a regular basis. The shade Opal was a pretty highlight shade I just didn't think it was the most flattering on my skin tone.

I've worn these on top of my foundation with no powder over top and they have incredible staying power. The finish is skin-like with a beautiful natural glow that looks like it's coming from within.

Worn over foundation and under powder they also have fantastic staying power however the skin-like glow it provides is no longer there but that's due to the powder sitting over top.

All in all, I'd say the formula of these is really great and definitely worth a try if you're on the hunt for clean luxury beauty products.

The OGEE brand is committed to creating high-quality and high-performing sustainable beauty products made from all clean organic ingredients which I love. Learn more about the brand here.
