Urban Decay Vice Lip Collection

Urban Decay recently dropped all-new vegan Vice lip products- more specifically their Vice Plumping Shine Balms and Vice Lipsticks. And they were kind enough to send me a few shades from the collection to share with you! So in this post, I'm sharing the details, closer looks, and swatches.

Starting with the Vice Plumping Shine Balms, these feel like hydrating lip balms but look more like a gloss. They are vegan-formulated and contain ingredients like hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate for fuller lips, and shea butter and passion fruit oil to nourish and protect.

The application is sheer but the color is buildable and the finish provides an extreme shine. There are a total of 9 shades available and the retail price for each is $20 USD.

When I wore these lip plumping products I did experience a slight tingling sensation on my lips which lasted for about half an hour. The formula felt comfortable, lightweight, and non-sticky. I also noticed a subtle vanilla scent which I didn't find overpowering. Overall I did find that they made my lips appear fuller and plumper while keeping my pout hydrated.

Above are the swatches for the Vice Plumping Shine Balms. Runyon has a nude latte tone. Cruisin' has a mauve nude pink tone. Name Drop has a shimmering peach rose tone. My Dude has a watermelon coral tone with gold sparkles.

Moving onto the Vice Lipsticks, these high-impact, long-lasting lipsticks come in three moisturizing finishes: cream, matte, and shine. They are all vegan-formulated with ingredients like aloe vera and avocado oil for hydration and comfort.

I found the application for all finishes to be creamy, pigmented, and comfortable. There are a total of 35 shades and the retail price for each is $19 USD.

Here are the three cream lipsticks I received and first off, they're all so beautiful. I think the packaging is so nice and I like how the barrel has a reflective finish to distinguish the finish of the lipstick (you'll notice the difference by looking at the matte lipstick barrel below).

The shades I wore most out of the three were Naked and Liar. I found that each applied full coverage pigment in one swipe, they were lightweight on and had a hydrating satiny creamy finish.

Here are the three matte shades I received and my personal favorite shade is, What's Your Sign, it's my kind of everyday lip color.

Before applying this matte lipstick I had an expectation of the lipstick feeling like a traditional matte lipstick, which isn't the most moisturizing or comfortable, but was completely blown away when I actually wore it and felt how creamy the formula was.

These lipsticks have a soft matte finish which is lightweight and very comfortable to wear, and the pigmentation is there, all you need is one swipe.

Here are the three shine shades I received and as you can see these lipsticks are shaped differently compared to the others but I found that their round flat tip made the application process so easy.

All of these shades are vibrant and highly pigmented. Their formula is creamy, lightweight, moisturizing, comfortable, but more on the sheer side, and each has an intense shine finish.
