This month I received a VoxBox from Influenster filled with Lancôme goodies. Two of those goodies being skincare and the other being a beauty product. For the past couple of weeks I've been testing out their skincare and have played around with the lip lacquer to familiarize myself a bit more with these products. These are my thoughts:
Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Gel Moisturizer: The first thing I noticed upon opening the jar was the fragrance. This moisturizer does have a floral-like scent, I'm personally not the biggest fan of fragranced skin care so that immediately turned me off but if you like an aroma coming from your skin care you're going to love this. Aside from the smell this moisturizer works very well at keeping my skin hydrated. I really like the gel formula, it absorbs onto my skin nicely and quickly without leaving behind any sort of stickiness or residue and it feels very lightweight. It also works perfectly underneath my makeup which is a huge plus for me! Overall it's a great hydrating moisturizer for someone with acne-prone, oily skin (like myself) as it does contain salicylic acid which is a great ingredient for treating acne.
Re-hydrating Toner with Acacia Honey: The texture of this toner is unlike any other toner I've ever used. The formula has a thicker consistency but it works! When you first put the product onto a cotton pad you'll notice the texture is a bit thicker but once it goes onto the skin it changes to a very watery-like texture. Once applied onto your skin it feels very soothing and hydrating. The toner has less of a fragrance in comparison to the moisturizer, which I appreciate. Overall a good toner for keeping the skin hydrated.
L'Absolu Lacquer: I really like how glossy the lip lacquer is! It really gives you that high-shine, super glossy, wet look to your lips which I think is so fitting for the summer time. It's super pigmented and the applicator makes it super easy to apply onto the lips with precision. It does stain the lips a bit once it's come off, but I personally don't mind that at all, I actually like it! The color I was sent was a bold fuchsia shade however I'd love to try their nude shades (because nude lip products are my fave!). The formula is very comfortable on the lips, not sticky like other glosses on the market. I will be doing a look with this lip product either on my YouTube channel or on Instagram, keep an eye out for that! Overall awesome lip lacquer, I give it a 10/10!
Thank you to Influenster for the complementary VoxBox, I hope to continue to test and review more products from you very soon! Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts and opinions on these new Lancôme products. Until next time friends, take care!

Tuesday, May 29th was the day we became official home owners. That morning we closed on our first home and obtained the keys to what some would consider, a new chapter in our lives. My husband and I were, and still are over the moon excited to have the opportunity to purchase a home, to share such a big milestone and to have made this accomplishment together.
On Friday, June 1st we were officially moved in. We've been living in our new home for a little over a month now and I'm very much looking forward to creating new memories in our new place, cooking lots of family meals together, throwing parties where we can all unite to celebrate and to decorate of course! Haha. Now that we're homeowners, we'll have lots of home projects, DIYs and much more happening which I will be sharing here on my blog!
I plan on filming a house tour for my YouTube channel once everything starts looking more put together. I've already started the design and decor process, hoping it will all be finished in a few months. If that's something you'd be interested in subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can watch that video when it goes live. You can find the direct link to my YouTube channel on the sidebar of my blog! :)
Last week I filmed and posted a natural summer makeup look for you guys so I thought it'd be perfect to film and create a night-out summer look as well. Both looks can be worn either day or night, both are very simple so anyone can achieve them and of course the lip color for this look can be customized to whatever you like. All of the products that I used for this night-out makeup are listed down below.
I hope you enjoyed this summer night-out makeup look, if you did please give my video a thumbs up. Subscribe to my channel if you aren't already! Back in November, in this blog post to be exact, I briefly mentioned that I struggle with anxiety. It's something that I've dealt with for what feels like my entire life and I continue to battle with it to this day. Because of my anxiety I'm constantly feeling stressed, my mind is always in a thousand different places, racing at a hundred miles per hour.
Yesterday when I opened up this package and saw these products from Sagely Naturals I honestly almost cried. For the past week or two I've had a really hard time controlling my anxiety that these products truly couldn't have come at a better time! I felt like the universe was saying "here is what you need, you'll get through this", which was so comforting to me.
In the package was the Stress Treatment CBD Roll-On oil and two CBD creams, one for tranquility and the other for relief and recovery. I tried the roll-on oil treatment that night and genuinely fell in love the aroma of the oil. The key ingredients within the oil are:
CBD: relieves anxiety, promotes balance and relaxation
Lavender Oil: calms and relaxes emotional stress
Bergamot Oil: soothes nerves and reduces nervous tension, anxiety and stress
Chamomile Oil: sedates nerves, promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety
I liked the oil so much I immediately re-applied it when I woke up this morning. My favorite part is that it's not an overpowering scent, it's soft enough to not disrupt your senses but perfectly balanced to where you can still smell it on the skin. This is perfect for those who deal with stress and anxiety, like myself, and are looking for something to promote calmness, relaxation and tranquility.
Another element that I really enjoyed about the roll-on treatment is that actual roller ball itself, it's made out of metal which provides the most relaxing cooling sensation when you're applying it to the temples, neck and forehead. I'm going to continue to use this treatment until it runs out because it truly does make me feel like I'm at a spa. An extra bonus is that it's just the right size to bring around with you everywhere!
I really wanted to share this product because it really did make a positive impact from the moment I received it in the mail to now. I love sharing positivity and anything that promotes it. Perhaps this is something that you'll benefit from and if it is, I'm glad I was able to introduce you to it. Until next time friends, take care!
During the summer months my go-to makeup looks consist of natural-looking, glowing skin. I thought it was the perfect time to share and create this look with you guys so I went ahead and filmed a tutorial and uploaded it to my YouTube channel. I've listed all the products that I used in the video down below.
I hope you enjoyed this glowy makeup tutorial, if you did please give it a thumbs up. Aren't subscribed to my channel yet? Subscribe! Be sure to turn on the bell notification so you're notified every time I upload a new video.
I'm also going to insert my previous video which is a 'get ready with us' featuring my sister, plus vlog footage from the Dua Lipa concert we went to that night.

Ever have those days where you're just feeling super chatty? Well for me it was one of those days. In my video I chat about what's been going on in my life, what I'm looking forward to and more.
I created this cranberry smokey eye look using the ABH Soft Glam Palette because I haven't really played around with the darker shades and let's be real, I'm still obsessed with this palette! Watch the video to see how and what I used to achieve this look.

Influenster was kind enough to send me a complimentary package containing the CoverFX Power Play Foundation and the CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder to sample and review. I filmed a first impressions and wear test using both of these products over on my YouTube channel, I've linked that above for you to watch.
When talking about makeup, particularly base products its important to mention the skin-prep used prior to the foundation application as it does play a role in the longevity and overall performance of the makeup. For skin prep I used the Prescriptives Super Line Preventor Xtreme, as I mentioned in the video this serum has been working so well for my skin. I've seen an improvement in texture and appearance over the course of a few days, another thing that I really appreciate are the ingredients in this serum. I'll have a dedicated blog post talking all about this product, but if you're interested in reading more about this serum you can click here and if you'd like to purchase this serum I do have a 30% off discount code that you can use at checkout to save you some money! Discount code: SLP30
Before giving you my final thoughts and review on this foundation and setting powder it's important for me to address my skin-type for reference. I have oily, acne prone skin with hyper-pigmentation.
So you guys know that the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation has been my holy grail for the past three years and I kid you not when I say that this foundation might be it's new replacement. I wore the Power Play foundation in the shade G30 for the second time to an outdoor music festival for nine hours in 87 degree heat! It was so hot out, I was sweating, dancing and it literally did not melt off. By the end of the festival my foundation was still on and it looked great - I was shocked!! This foundation is full coverage so I had no issues with my hyper-pigmentation peaking through, my oil was under control (thanks to the combination of this foundation and the setting powder). The Power Play foundation is available in 40 shades so you're guaranteed to find your perfect color match! The finish of this product is a comfortable, weightless matte. It's also vegan and cruelty-free. This CoverFX Power Play Foundation retails for $44 and contains 1.18oz of product (a bit more than the average foundation).
I also wore the Perfect Setting Powder in Light Medium to the music festival along with the foundation and both the powder and foundation are a match made in heaven for my skin. I really like that this setting powder does not alter the color of my foundation, some setting powders I've used in the past lightened my base, this one did not. It goes on evenly and leaves my skin looking and feeling smooth. I didn't take any photos wearing this foundation so I can't attest to the no flashback claim (I'll update you on this). As I mentioned I have really oily skin and this setting powder paired with the Power Play foundation really kept my oils at bay and kept my base in place all day long. I also really like the packaging of this powder, it has a screw-on cap with a liftable lid inside to keep the powder from going everywhere when you're traveling with it (I show you this in the video). The color of this powder is a perfect neutral, it's not too pink or too yellow. They do carry this setting powder in two shades, Light Medium and Medium Deep. Another great fact about this powder is that it's 100% talc free as well as vegan and cruelty-free. The CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder retails for $35.
Overall this foundation and setting powder worked amazing for me and my needs. I'm definitely going to continue to use both products! Thank you to Influenster for introducing me to what could potentially be my new favorite combo. If you watched and enjoyed my video please give it a thumbs up and if you'd like to keep up with future videos, subscribe to my channel. Until next time friends, take care!
