Easy Valentine's Day Makeup + Setting Powder Comparisons

If you follow me on Instagram you'd know that over the weekend I shared on my IG story a couple of new products I picked up from the drugstore. You guys, I found these gorgeous pair of mink lashes from the brand KISS for only $6! They're stunning, full and fluffy I couldn't pass them up.

I also bought a new shade of my favorite Coty AirSpun setting powder, I picked up the color Neutrally Neutral. The shade I was previously using was Translucent Extra Coverage but that one has a pink undertone, so when I'd put it over my foundation it'd alter the color of my makeup. My skin has a very yellow undertone so it looked a little weird once my makeup was set, it was like yellow body and pink face; not a good look.

Neutrally Neutral has a hint of yellow in it and it doesn't change the color of my foundation like the translucent one did which makes me so happy because I truly love this powder. If you're on the hunt for a good setting powder look no further and get yourself a Coty Airspun setting powder, let me tell you why I love and recommend this product..

• It does its job of setting and keeping the makeup in place
• The price is really affordable (under $10)
• You get a lot of product (2.3 oz)
• It doesn't give you flashback in flash photography
• I personally like the scent (some people may hate it)

I'll include the pictures from my Instagram story down below so you can get side to side comparisons of each shade, I also compare the size and color to the Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder. To be honest I reach for my Coty Airspun powder way more than my Laura Mercier. Truthfully I fell for the hype of the Laura Mercier powder so I went out and bought it and in my honest opinion it's just an overpriced setting powder, nothing special about it and definitely not worth $38 to me.

Okay, moving on to this easy Valentine's Day makeup look. Now you may look at it and think it's not easy but it is, trust me. I only used three eye shadows, one for the crease, the other on the outer corners and the last one on my lid. Added some winged liner, lashes, a pop of highlight in the inner corners and the eyes are set! I included all the products I used down below and I also included a photo of the mink lashes. I hope you enjoy the look!
