Hey loves! The year of 2016 is coming to an end and with that I'd like to take a trip down memory lane and share with you my top five favorite moments of this year...
No. 1 - My First Time Ever Flying
The first time I ever stepped foot on a plane was back in September when my fiance and I flew to Florida for my birthday. To my surprise I absolutely loved the entire experience and I'd definitely do it again. I'd like my next vacation to be in California so hopefully that'll be my second plane ride.
No. 2 - My First Beyonce Concert
I'm a huge Beyonce fan and always wanted to go to her concerts but never had the chance. When she came to Houston in September for her Formation World Tour I bought myself a pair of tickets as a personal birthday gift the moment they went on sale. It was the best concert I'd ever been to in my life, she's such an amazing performer!
No. 3 - My First Experience as a Makeup Artist
Some of you guys may already know this story from one of my previous posts. Earlier this month I had the opportunity to be the makeup artist for a fun photo shoot and it was a great hands on and learning experience. No. 4 - Getting Featured on Instagram
In November and December I was fortunate enough to get featured on Morphe Brushes and on Eye Kandy Cosmetics Instagram pages for two different cut crease looks I created and shared. When I woke up that morning and saw my notifications I was so beyond happy that it literally made my entire day! Want product details for these looks, just click on the one you want to see:
No. 5 - Buying My First Car
This year I had enough money saved up to afford to buy myself a new car, it's technically not new it's used, but it's new to me. My previous car was given to me by my parents and after years of driving it around it started to get problems so I had to find a replacement. This is definitely a memorable moment because it's my first ever big purchase with my hard earned money.
I'm so thankful to have been able to live and experience another year and I can't wait to see what awaits in this new chapter of my life. I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my top five favorite moments of 2016 and remember that every new year is another chance to get it right, set goals and do what makes you happy.
