LA Girl Pro Concealer Review

I finally purchased the concealer that everyone and their mom has been raving about. What concealer is that you may ask? These ever so popular L.A. Girl Pro Concealers, of course. These amazing concealers are from L.A. Girl USA Cosmetics, their high definition coverage and ability to stay on the skin with little to no creasing has many comparing this product to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. The best part about this concealer is that they retail for about $5.00, compared to MAC's $20.00 concealer this is a steal! I purchased these concealers on www.ikatehouse.com for only $3.00. Since I bought them online and couldn't personally color match them to my skin tone I just picked the two closest shades, which were Creamy Beige and Pure Beige. I also bought the shade Beautiful Bronze to cream contour with.
Creamy Beige is a light beige with a pink undertone, I use it to cover up my dark circles and to highlight. I apply it straight from the tube to the area under my eyes in the upside down triangle shape, then I first blend it out using my finger - I find it evenly blends the product onto my skin. The next step I take is using a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to pick up any excess product and to blend the concealer out even more for a flawless finish. I do set the concealer with a powder, I use the amazing Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Banana.

Pure Beige is a medium beige with a yellow undertone, it ended up being a little too dark for my skin tone so I'm saving it for when I'm a little tan come summer time.

Beautiful Bronze is a coffee brown with a yellow undertone, I use this to cream contour the hollows of my cheeks, around my temples and nose. The way I apply the cream contour is by squeezing the product onto the back of my hand and with my finger mapping out lines where I want to contour, then I just take any small fluffy blending brush and blend. I set my contour with the famous Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit.

I have been using these concealers for about a month now and can honestly say that I wouldn't hesitate to repurchase these babies. They have a lightweight consistency and blend like a dream. If you're a fan of the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer I would definitely recommend trying this product out, I mean for only $5.00 why wouldn't you?

  1. Hey! I just discovered your blog and wanted to say your reviews are great so far, I've read them both! :)

I'm keen on trying this concealer, but I wasn't sure which shade to choose from between Creamy Beige and Pure Beige. From what you've said, I think I might try Creamy Beige for highlighting and also for under my eyes. Thank you for helping me decide!

  2. i use the yellow corrector for under eyes, mixed with creamy beige for highlighting and contour i use toast, to bronze i use beautifully bronzed. IN love with these combos, if i had to chose 2, would be the yellow one and beautifully bronzed. I am nc35/40. Obsessed with these, used to love MAC concealer but this is so much easier to apply and cheaper
