Having to type the words end of summer for the title of this post is so bittersweet because deep in my core I don't want to accept the fact that this season is coming to an end. Despite constantly complaining about the unbearable heat, I'm not quite ready to let go of the long sunny days or the summer fashion. Does anyone else feel this way? Leave me a comment and let me know.
Anyway, in this post, I share a try-on haul of my latest SHEIN finds and I include shoppable links, sizing details, and a little about why I chose each piece. As a friendly reminder, code Q3YGJESS gets you 15% off SHEIN.
Zip Back Tube Mesh Top ($16) - I'm wearing a size medium and the fit is true to size. This top fits so good, it doesn't slide down, and it makes me feel boujee and classy. It is available in 15+ colors but I of course opted for the color white because I'm a neutrals girl through-and-through. The material of this piece is quite decent considering the affordable price point.
Tie Front Crisscross Roll Up Sleeve Crop Top ($14) - I'm wearing a size medium and the fit is true to size. I picked this piece because I wanted to be trendy and let me just say I am obsessed with the crisscross tie detail as it really helps to accentuate the waist. I also feel like this is a piece that I can dress up or dress down which I really appreciate.
Raw Hem Washed Denim Shorts ($12) - I'm wearing a size medium and the fit is true to size. To say I'm addicted to denim is an understatement but oddly enough I did not have a single pair of bermuda shorts in my collection so I got these and they are perfect. I really like the length of them, the color of the wash, raw hem, and their comfortable fit.
Satin Button Up Curved Hem Blouse ($14) - I'm wearing a size medium and the fit is true to size. This blouse is a must-have, versatile, and timeless article of clothing. The fit of this one is more oversized than fitted which I personally prefer. The satin-like fabric makes the top look expensive and I am here for it. Button up blouses like this can be styled so many different ways, I highly recommend investing in this one.
Zebra Striped Plunging Neckline Tie Front Crop Top ($12) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. I picked this piece on impulse not knowing if I'd love it or hate it and I still don't know where I stand simply because of the print (not that there is anything wrong with it). But my feelings aside, the top has such a good fit, the sleeves are cinched with elastic around the wrists but it's roomy, comfortable, not tight, and the fabric is nice and lightweight.
Fold Over Waist Denim Shorts ($20) - I ordered these in a size large because the reviews suggested to go up a size so I did and now regret doing so because the shorts are too big. I should have ordered a medium so I suggest getting your normal sizing. I'd been wanting a pair of shorts with the fold over waist detail for such a long time so when I saw these on the SHEIN website I was so excited. I started reading the reviews as I usually do before ordering anything and well I sized up as suggested and they did not fit so now I'm a little bummed about it because I was really looking forward to wearing these a lot.
Faux Leather Square Toe Lace Up Block Heels ($27) - I ordered a size 8.5 and the fit is true to size. I've been in love with tie up heels this year so much so that this is now my third pair in this similar style. These shoes in particular are comfortable and easy to walk in thanks to the block heel and they are available in 6+ colors.
Sweetheart Neckline Swiss Dot Bustier Dress ($19) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. Statement sleeves ruled my wardrobe last year and they continue to have the key to my heart because these sleeves are absolutely dreamy. The fabric of this dress is stretchy, flattering, and the style is very romantic and feminine, which I love. This dress would be perfect for any dressy occasion like a date night or a bachelorette party (it's also available in black).
Plunging Neck Ruffle Hem Chiffon Dress ($23) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. Here is another dress for any dressy occasion like a party or fun night/day out. The chiffon fabric gives this dress so much movement and I love the long flounce sleeves. This dress zips closed in the back and it's available in 5 colors.
Tie Front Crop Top + Skirt Set ($21) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. I adore matching sets because they're so easy to wear and make me feel so put together. This little set is the first of three in this haul. What I like about this set is the fit and flare skirt, the tie front detail and puff sleeves on the top, and the lightweight fabric. The top is a little sheer but still very wearable.
Croc Embossed Slide Sandals ($18) - I'm wearing a EUR40 and they fit like a US8.5. These sandals are a closet staple, they're a classic white color so they're easy to style, and the croc-embossed detailing gives them a little touch of interest.
Crop Tank Top + Rolled Hem Shorts Set ($20) - I ordered this set in a size small based off the reviews and it does fit however a teeny bit snug, depending on how you like your clothes to fit you can either size down or stay true to size. I really like the lightweight cotton fabric on this set, it reminds me a lot of of linen fabric in the way it looks and feels. A big bonus of matching sets is that you can mix and match each individual piece and I can definitely see myself doing that with both the top and bottoms.
Knot Shoulder Tie Back Ruched Bust Crop Top + Split Hem Skirt Set ($15) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. I mentioned on my Instagram that I've been obsessed with this sage green color this summer so when I saw this cute little set on the website I had to have it. The top has lots of self tie details both on the shoulders and back, and the skirt fits perfectly and needs no alterations as the length and waist fit just right. This set is available in 8 fun colors.
Oversized Drop Shoulder Tunic Blouse ($15) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. Button up blouses have been my thing this summer because of their versatility. This one in particular has the coolest fabric it's very lightweight, breathable, and flowy. The length on this top is not too long or too short and I really like the color. // See 4 ways to wear this top here!
Tie Back Layered Romper ($23) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. I like that this piece looks more like a dress than a romper. The layered detailing gives this romper a lot of movement which I appreciate. The color is of course a favorite and the puff sleeve detail and floral prints throughout make it feel very feminine and girly. This romper does have a zipper closure on the back as well as a tie back detail. On the website this is advertised as an off the shoulder romper but I personally think it can be worn both on or off the shoulder.
Ditsy Floral Tie Side Wrap Dress ($19) - I'm wearing a medium and the fit is true to size. Dresses are one of my favorite pieces because they no-brainers to put together it's really more about the accessories when styling a dress. But this one is very comfortable and the fabric is lightweight and airy. It is a wrap dress and I personally didn't have any issues with how it wore. I like the ruffle detailing on the hem and sleeves as it gives the dress a lot of movement. This dress is available in 4+ colors.

I am so excited about today's blog post because I absolutely LOVE anything related to home decor, interiors, transformations or makeovers and that's what this post is all about.
I'm sharing the process of how my bathroom went from being completely bare to fully decorated in my latest YouTube video, which I have included below for you to watch.
Here on the blog, I'm sharing the after photos of my bathroom, close-ups of the decor and all the links for you to shop any of the decor pieces you'd like.

When brainstorming on the aesthetic of this space I pulled a lot of inspiration from the existing theme I have going on in the rest of my house which I like to think is a mixture of boho and modern with lots of neutral tones.
I highly recommend adding wall art prints to any room because it's an easy way to add interest without compromising any floor space. Dear Sam has a great selection of prints, they are high quality and printed on eco-friendly paper for responsible forestry. The brand was kind enough to prove me with a coupon code for you to save on your order. Use code JESS35 for 35% OFF (valid now through 8/26/2021)
Overall I'm very happy with the end result of the bathroom and plan on keeping it this way for a very long time. I hope you enjoyed today's blog post and YouTube video of this transformation. If you did enjoy my video I would love it if you'd consider supporting and subscribing to my channel.

Drew Barrymore's cosmetic line, Flower Beauty, recently released their Never Been Kissed curated collection featuring some of the brands' favorites inspired by Josie Grossie from the iconic 90's film Never Been Kissed.
I was fortunate enough to receive a PR package from the brand to try and review this collection. So I'm sharing a closer look at the collection, product swatches, product details, and the makeup look I created in this post.
Inside the PR box were a total of nine products and below is a closer look at each. I'd also like to mention that Flower Beauty is a 100% cruelty-free brand.
Shimmer + Strobe Highlighting Palette in SP1 Champagne Shimmer ($14) - The formulation of this palette is excellent - it's buttery, highly pigmented, and delivers so much luminosity. I love how this product can be applied to the face, eyes, and body for multi-dimensional radiance.
Seal The Deal Luminizing Setting Spray ($13) - This setting spray locks in makeup and provides a glowing finish. It's also formulated with skincare ingredients like primrose oil, vitamin E, lilac extract, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera to nourish, moisturize, and soothe the skin.
Flower Pots Powder Blush in Warm Hibiscus ($10) - This is one of my favorite drugstore blushes! The color is a perfect warm pinky-peach that looks so natural on the cheeks and it has a radiant finish. It's nicely pigmented and blends onto the skin seamlessly.
Petal Pout Lip Scrub ($10) - I love this lip scrub because it gently exfoliates, nourishes the lips, and it tastes yummy. This scrub is formulated with ultra-fine sugar crystals, coconut oil, castor seed oil, and cocoa butter for a smooth kissable pout. I use this about once a month to keep my lips soft and healthy.
Petal Pout Lip Mask in Berry-More ($10) - This tinted lip mask is formulated with mango and coconut butter to help nourish and hydrate the lips while delivering a wash of natural color. I like wearing this on days when my lips need a little extra love.
Bitten Lip Stain in Sweet ($10) - I cannot rave about this lip stain enough! This is highly pigmented and once dry it does not transfer and lasts all day making it my go-to for long days/nights out. The water-based formula is comfortable, lightweight and doesn't make the lips feel dry. I have this in several shades because I'm THAT obsessed.
Petal Pout Moisturizing Lipstick in Peony ($9) - The formulation of this lipstick is creamy and hydrating with ingredients like vitamin E and natural botanicals. The finish is comfortable and natural making it the ideal everyday lipstick.
Scribble Stick in Tickle Me Pink + Espresso ($10) - I really appreciate the versatility of this product as it can be worn on both the eyes and lips (and it has a built-in sharpener too!). The formula is creamy, pigmented, and infused with sunflower seed oil, natural botanicals, and vitamin E to soothe and hydrate the eyes and lips.
Pictured above are the swatches for the products, and oh my - they are all so pigmented!
