"Thrift shops are my favorite places for inspiration, you never know what you're going to find. It's a treasure hunt." - Paul Octavious
Where are your favorite places to thrift shop? Let me know in the comments.
My go-to thrift shop is the Goodwill, I love finding affordable pieces that I can DIY to make them more me and my style. Then there are those rare but special times that I find pieces that need no work at all. Like earlier this month when the hubby and I took a trip down to our local thrift store and found this denim skirt and vintage belt.

I'd been wanting a denim skirt for such a long time and I'm so glad I found one that day. Best of all - it was under $5! You think that's a steal? I also found two vintage belts for a dollar each. I've seen vintage belts like these on my favorite style bloggers as they're super trendy at the moment.
When it came to styling the pieces I'd found I chose to style the denim skirt two ways: with over-the-knee boots for colder days and with ankle booties for warmer days. The great thing about this skirt is that I can wear it year round which makes me want Spring and Summer to come around even more!

I'm so happy with what I found on this trip to the thrift store. This isn't the last time you'll see these pieces in action, haha. I'll of course be sharing all future OOTDs over on my Instagram and here on my blog when I post my monthly Instagram OOTD Round Ups.
Thank you for reading todays blog post. Until next time friends, take care!
